 We, at Picture Perfect, are thrilled to be joining our town’s First Friday Team. We were slow on the upswing, but finally figured out how we can be included in this culturally vibrant happening. We are glad to be joining in with Crossroads Gallery, Gallery ‘N Gifts, Frame of Mind/Art and Glass, Books & Crannies, Radio Shack, Mama Hillybean’s Coffee and Community, and The Tehachapi Art Center. On the First Friday of every month from 5 - 8 PM. We will have two local artists in as our stars of the evening. They will share their background and love of scrapbooking with their albums.

Good friends, Stephani Parks and Maria Llamas will fill our Artist chairs for the month of November. Both of these women are highly active in all things familiy as will be evidenced when you stop in to see their beautifully crafted albums. Maria’s albums will be filled with pictures of Victor, Michael and Christopher, while Stephani’s album will be filled with pics of Scott, Kyle and Madi. Maria has been in town fourteen years and love cruises, Bunco and Willow Figurines. Long-timer Stephanie stays busy directing our Junior Miss program and coaching Varsity Tomahawk Cheerleaders. In her rare spare time, she likes the beach, collecting everything and decorating anything.

In our spotlight for October are Kelli Austin and Carol Westover.
 Kelli is an Orange County transplant. She and her husband Tim, moved here four years ago with their five Newfoundlands. Kelli also rescues these big beauties. Roller skating used to occupy a lot of her time, but now it is mostly cardmaking. She’s a great baker of cookies but drives too fast.
The other partner in crime that evening will be Carol Westover who has come to us via San Diego. She and her husband Robert were drawn to Tehachapi because of their love of trains. Carol is a fabric and paper artiist extrodinaire. She has been making Artist Trading Cards now for nigh onto seven years. She has brought her world wide collection into our store for display and is now offering classes and trading sessions with anyone who loves to be artistic. This is a must see collection. She is involved with the completion of the depot as well as sews for the needy. To top that off, she also volunteers for our store.

In our spotlight for September will be Brenna Knott and Leslie Carter. Both these ladies will share their background and love of scrapbooking with their albums. Brenna is known for her creative beautiful hand-made books that she makes for our store and for her family memories. Leslie loves scrap to all her family adventures, such going to the rodeo or her son, Chris' excursions. So - please join us for a fun night of good fellowship, fabulous inspiration from our artists and great food!
